Every year, the art and fashion crowds transcend down Miami Beach for the annual Miami Art Basel. This is a place to see and be seen by the biggest names in the business! This was the eleventh round, from December 6-9, and once again had everyone daydreaming of the parties, the fashion, and, most vitally, the art. Regardless of whether it was day or night, Art Basel outfits seemed driven by deliberately counter-intuitive moves: sequins from head to toe (yes in broad daylight), raffia belts over evening looks, and the spring crop-top trend made many appearances, and the warm weather; daring guests to figure out their SS13 looks a few months early.
