Fall Trend ALERT!

March 22, 2012 No Comments by amanda

After scanning all of the runways- (from New York, to London, to Milan and beyond!) This season there seems to be tons of color everywhere, but all in muted/sophisticated shades. Here are the hot new color trends for fall 2012.

Proenza Schouler, Rodarte, Vionnet

Burnt Orange- This softer/dustier orange is more of a neutral tone than what we’ve seen in past seasons.

Ferragamo, Bottega Veneta, YSL

Eggplant- Now, this long time beauty trend of dark purple lips, is making it’s way onto the runways and into our wardrobes.

Stella McCartney, Chanel, Prabal Gurung

Royal Blue- Not new to being on point practically every season, but is so elegant when paired with black, designers can’t say no- and neither can I!

Chloe, Carven, Rachel Comey

Peach- This was such a big color for the spring/summer collections that we can’t put it away just yet. Peach is more badass than the pale pinks of previous seasons, and less in-your-face than hot pink, it is going to be the new neutral this fall.

Sonia Rykiel, Balmain, Oscar de la Renta

Deep Teal- This enriched nautical shade will be a great look for evening.

Aquilano Rimondi, DVF, Oscar de la Renta

Primrose Yellow- The mustard yellow is a welcome change to the previous seasons, acid neon yellow. This shade can punch up any outfit!

Thakoon, Rodarte, Rag & Bone

Venetian Red- A new take on the always beautiful scarlet red.

Missoni, Oscar de la Renta, Lanvin

Cerulean- This new turquoise is youthful and fresh-feeling, and looks just right with a splash of sparkle.
