T’was a big night for both the fashion and the music world Thursday night!  If it was Fashion’s Night Out in New York, then it was Celebrities’ Night Out in Los Angeles -Unfortunately for Anna Wintour’s, the only thing happening on the streets of Soho last night was a fashion riot! Turns out all the hype and fashion was out on the double decker red carpet!

Amber Rose debuted her baby bump with Wiz Khalifa by her side

The MTV Video Music Awards was top notch entertainment thanks to the high energy from Kevin Hart who was last night’s host and who wasn’t sparing a soul! He is brilliant -hilarious doesn’t even cover it!
Hart rolled in with midgets so he could be the tallest and explained
I’m gonna need a little security, and they [MTV] took me too seriously.

Rihinna and ASAP Rocky preformed together which is huge for Rocky who wasn’t afraid to turn up the heat! Frank Ocean was a little nervous after recently coming out of the closet but sang beautifully!
Alicia Keys, in a metallic shoulder padded top, debuted her new single Girl on Fire featuring Nicki Minaj. The performance shined with an assist from gold medalist Gabby Douglas who tumbled down the stage at the Staples Center. Husband Swizz Beatz and son were in the crowd as Keys’s key were on fire!  I thought it was the best performance of the night especially when Nicki started spittin’!
Justin Bieber and One Direction went head to head, Snooki had a meetball named Lorenzo, and Kristen Stuart was a no show, and Pink arrived in a helicopter?
But, what turned out to be the real entertainment of the night was drama heating up at the VMA’s!

Rihanna won best video of the year as Kevin Hart screamed like a little girl!  During the commercial break Rihanna past ex-boyfriend Chris Brown and he got up to congratulate her.  MTV showed the footage shot from a distance on its website Friday.

Chris Brown’s girl wasn’t by his side when he accepted Best Male Video and in Oprah’s Last Chapter, Rihanna revealed that she will always love him but most importantly that she has forgiven him.

“Cosmo experts swear couples have the best odds of making it for the long haul if they wait until 25 to get hitched.

There are practical reasons for the mid-20s dividing line, and most of them boil down to two biggies: education and money. Turns out, the more years of higher education a woman has under her belt on her wedding day, the lower the chances that she’ll get divorced…and by 25, you’re more likely to have earned a degree or two.

“Educated women tend to be more confident about who they are and less willing to settle for a man who doesn’t meet their standards,” explains Terri Orbuch, PhD, author of Five Simple Steps to Take Your Marriage From Good to Great.

Odds are that by 25 you’re also supporting yourself, so there’s less incentive for you to rush into marriage because you’re seeking financial security from him.

Twenty-four and already married to the man of your dreams? Don’t worry: Many young marriages survive. But given the choice, you might consider putting off the big day until your mid-20s or later.”
